Marine View Christian Preschool, a ministry of Marine View Presbyterian Church, has a long-standing reputation in the NE Tacoma community for providing a warm and loving Christian environment where children can learn, grow and play. Our current Director is retiring which offers a rare opportunity for an individual who loves children & wants to be a role model of Christian values while working with a small, loyal staff. This is a hands-on, roll up your sleeves job mixed with the accountability & vision of overall operations: basic financial & budgetary, staff management, problem solving & communication with parents & children, etc. The Director's job never slows down, interacts with families & children of the preschool, and offers potential future growth!

The right candidate must have the prior work experience in an early childhood education environment preferably a preschool combined with prior supervisory experience. This position may fit with a seasoned veteran wanting to reduce their hours to an educator looking to take the next step in their career. We offer a fair compensation and a rewarding work environment based on 22 hours per week September to May. The preschool is currently running Tuesday to Friday 9:20-12:00 am, with some non-regular hours in the afternoons, evenings, weekends and during the summer.
