The mission statement of Timber Ridge is "To do whatever it takes to turn irreligious people into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ in our community and throughout the world." The members of Timber Ridge work to accomplish this mission by being a contemporary, seeker-sensitive church that sees its five-fold purpose in the activities of evangelism, education, worship, ministry, and fellowship. We also seek candidates that possess strong leadership abilities and are committed to the specific mission of Timber Ridge. The pastor will be the "moderator" of the church.
To cast vision for the congregation and for the leadership of the church. This will entail thinking of new ministry strategies for the church.
To designate the trustees of the church. The trustees will be approved by the members at the annual membership meeting.
To oversee the training of the ministry leaders and the "equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry."
To assist in the recruiting of leaders of the various ministries of the church.
