First United Methodist Church of Fulshear is seeking someone who loves God and loves music to be the Director of Music. The Director of Music will oversee a comprehensive music program for adults, youth and children. He/she will lead creative worship, as well music ministry, that includes seasonal programs and musicals. Though FUMC is a traditional worshipping community, a wide range of music styles is appreciated. The Director of Music should have knowledge of a variety of music styles. The role requires a leader willing to work on a team, think creativity and have initiative to start new programs. He/she should have good vocal and piano skills.
The primary responsibilities include A spiritual leader for the music ministry Lead music for the traditional worship services Provide music for events happening at the church, beyond worship. Work with the preschool to develop a music program. Recruit vocal and instrumental talents
