Job Description:
Responsibilities: i. Maintain a faithful walk with Jesus Christ, glorifying God and growing in Christian maturity. ii. Support the values and mission of Christian Fellowship Church. iii. Pray for, love, and support the members of the Worship team. iv. Communicate effectively and efficiently with the members of your team in order that they will have all available information regarding their responsibilities. v. Recruit musicians as needed. vi. Produce and maintain a musical library of material that can be used during Sunday morning worship services. vii. The PWL will Collaborate with the Pastor, the Music Ministry Team, and the technical support staff, to create a Cohesive, impactful, spiritually significant Sunday worship service. viii. Lead, shape and oversee the music ministry for CFC. ix. Will develop volunteer based worship music team(s) and oversee/conduct regular rehearsals in order to assure compelling worship experiences led by instrumental/vocal excellence. x. Develop and train those in the CFC church community with appropriate spiritual and musical gifts to serve on the music ministry team. Attend staff meetings, Music Ministry Team meetings and worship and Music Committee meetings as necessary. xi. Will organize, schedule and plan music ministry events and personnel. c. Qualifications: i. A mature, strong, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. ii. Gifted in music as an expression of faith and creative artistic discernment. iii. Excellent instrumental and vocal abilities. iv. Strong visionary, planning, and organizational skills. v. Fluency in contemporary music and music culture. vi. Effective team builder and motivator. vii. Competent communicator; both interpersonal and public.
