Some of the essential skills needed.... (1) strong vocals (2) solid understanding of music & sound (technology) (3) A basic knowledge of video, lighting, and stage design.

Basic responsibilities.... (1) Oversee the entire worship arts ministry (band, sound, video, lighting, graphics) (2) lead the band (recruit, resource, direct, instruct, correct and encourage them) (3) Work with senior pastor to put together weekly worship sets for Sunday worship experience (4) aid in message series development (themes, graphics, videos, set design, etc...) (5) provide worship music at various events (ie: quarterly Wednesday night worship, prayer and communion service, men's retreat, community outreach events, special services, etc...) (6) help develop our youth band.

We are very excited about the future of New Community Church! We have a clear and compelling vision which we are passionate about. It is to "connect the disconnected and grow towards full maturity in Christ." Ultimately, we are seeking a worship leader who can fully embrace this vision and join us in making it a reality.
